Office Procedures

For the convenience of our patients, Associates in Urology performs many diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in our state of the art office facilities. If local anesthesia is required, it is administered prior to the procedure.

The in office procedures include:

• Laser and microwave vaporization of prostate enlargement
• Flexible cystoscopy (diagnostic visualization of bladder wall with small soft camera)
• Biopsy of bladder tumors
• Laser and thermal ablation of small bladder tumors
• Bladder instillation of chemotherapeutic medications for bladder cancer
• Transrectal ultrasonography for benign prostate conditions
• Transrectal biopsy of prostate
• Intravenous administration of bone-stabilizing medications
• Renal, scrotal, bladder, and testicular ultrasound
• Vasectomy
• Computer diagnostics of bladder strength and capacity
• Penile Injections for erectile dysfunction
• Ultrasound evaluation of penile blood flow in patients with erectile dysfunction

For patients requiring laboratory evaluation our on premises laboratory facilities provide variety of test previously offered only at hospital laboratories.
